Every one of my clients has specific and individual needs. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach in translation and this is even more true for Finance/technical translations. That’s why I prefer to provide a free personalised quote for each project. However, I know that some clients prefer to have a ballpark figure. If you need language services from Italian-to-English or English-to- Italian, you’re in the right place.

  • For translations, copywriting, proofreading, and revising, one feedback session for any potential changes is always included in my quotes.

  • For translations, copywriting, proofreading, revising, and transcriptions, express delivery is available for a rush fee.

  • For translation, proofreading, and revising jobs below 150 words, I charge a minimum fee EUR 35.

If you need support with additional languages, I can recommend trusted translators I’ve worked with.

  • I want to work with you, how do I go about it?
You can reach out to me here, or you can schedule a free consultation call with me to discuss your needs. My number is 07834406944. I will then send you a free, tailor-made quote, together with the terms and conditions of the services discussed. Once I have received the signed quote, we will then agree on all relevant deadlines (if applicable), and I will start working on your project. If necessary, I am happy to sign an NDA.
  • How much does a translation cost?
Vice Versa Languages provides fast, accurate and affordable translations, completed by a professional human translator and I pride myself in offering the highest quality translations at very competitive prices. My experience allows me to understand that each project is different and that each of my clients, regardless of size, expects their specific requirements to be approached from a individual angle. Therefore, I have come to realise that setting a fixed price for all translations can be ineffective and unfavourable for my clients. Consequently, when calculating the price for a translation, I approach each project individually, taking into the account a number of factors including length of the project, the subject and the procedure you need for your purpose. This allows me to offer very competitive prices and flexibility, ensuring that your documents or projects are always uniquely assessed. Additionally, before going ahead, the price will be presented to you clearly and with a full breakdown. No hidden costs or surprise charges. See pricing section above for more info.
  • I asked other translation agencies or professionals and they gave me a lower quote. Why do your service cost more?
Generally, one should be wary of those who ask too little for a highly specialised service, as is the case of translation. If it feels too cheap, it probably is. My quote does not just reflect the cost of the service I provide, it also encompasses the preparation and research time I put in when translating a document. Often, a low or even very low-cost translation is the result of sub-contracting work to non-specialized translators — sometimes even to unspecialized bilinguals with no specific training. I take extreme pride in what I do, what I deliver, what my business represents and the values it stands for. That’s just not the way I work. This is my business, my heart and soul. When I begin any translation and especially a financial/technical translation with complex terminology throughout, I spend several hours to research and compile a specific glossary to provide an impeccable service. In addition, I have invested in education, and I continue to train constantly in my areas of specialization to always stay on top of the industry game. This allows me to provide you with the best service that’s out there!
  • What guarantees do you offer?
First of all, my all-round experience and professionalism. I take extreme pride in everything I do. Quality is paramount. I abide by a scrupulous code of work ethics. I have never missed a deadline, and my quote always includes a feedback session after delivering your project, so that you are always happy with the end result.
  • How long does a translation take?
Processing time for translation depends on a variety of factors, including the number of words in the document, the file type, and the type of translation being performed. To speed up the process and reduce your cost, please provide editable native files, including all images, fonts and instructions for handling, if applicable. Depending on the complexity of the text and the amount of research needed, my average daily output ranges from 2000 to 2500 words. After the translation is done, as part of my Quality Assurance process, I take another half day or full day to review the text, depending on its deadline and length.
  • I have an urgent translation. Can you help?
Yes, If your project is urgent, I proudly offer rush services, depending on the length of the document and its complexity. The service is available at an additional cost.
  • Do you use Google translate or other free machine translation tools?
No, I never use Google Translate or other machine translation and/or CAT tools that can be found free on the web. Once you enter your text or upload your document onto one of those, the information contained in them automatically becomes the property of Google/the owner of the site. Since confidentiality and protecting the privacy of my clients are paramount to me, I refrain from using these tools.
  • Why does machine translation not work?
Machine translation like Google Translate is fine for quick help, but not for carefully crafted documents or text which may be full of technical terms, cultural nuances or even humour, which automated translation would certainly miss. Some translation companies choose to offer an inexpensive basic translation service. Normally this means a cheap machine translation service with basic proof reading and editing on top. Machine translation is improving all the time, and some AI-powered translation companies are starting to compete with certain content types. They’re still some way from human level quality though. Machine translation is ok when you don’t need to worry about the translation quality, but if you’re looking to accurately communicate with your customers, promote your brand and products or sell to an overseas market, you will need a high-quality translation service. Don’t be tempted to save some budget and plug the content into Google Translate without any review or extensive editing!
  • Why should I use a native/bilingual speaker to translate a document?
My view is that only native/bilingual speakers of the target language can ensure the accuracy of your document by immediately detecting the cultural and local nuances of the original text and conveying them faithfully in the target language.
